For example a health and safety practitioner no longer needs to return to the office and key in the results of an inspection, audit or risk assessment.
Our applications allow the practitioner to use predefined assessment templates with drop down lists and text completion features to minimise the data input effort. When the mobile user has finished inputting the information, data will automatically be sent to the central computer at the head office. This saves time wasting delays, costly errors and administration resources.



BHB applications are portable because they are written in Java. This means they will run on any mobile device. 

Our mobile applications can also send data to a printer on site so that the health and safety practitioner can leave a hard copy of the audit with site personnel or those responsible. 

BHB applications are completely reliable end to end solutions for capturing, managing and processing our client’s business data as the following scenarios illustrate: 

• Our mobile applications can submit data over the internet. 

• If the operator is out of range of a wireless internet access point then the application will automatically send the data via GPRS. This is just like making a phone call. 

• If the operator is in a remote place where there is no telephone signal the application will automatically save the data locally on the mobile device. When the operator gets a signal the application will automatically send the data to the central server. 

• At the server end alerts and reports will be generated so that the information captured can be managed real time. 

• Inventory functionality will ensure that the configuration, software and data resident on the mobiles can be managed centrally while the devices are still out in the field. For example if an administrator adds a new hazard to the list of hazards stored on the central server’s database then the hazards drop down list on all mobile applications will automatically be updated to contain that new hazard.
