The Aim of the Course is to: Train operators in the safe mounting and selection of Abrasive Wheels and Cutting Discs. Course Duration 1 day, this will dependant on the types and number of pieces of equipment that is to be covered.
The Objectives of the Course are to enable delegates to: • Be able to operate the machine safely and correctly in accordance with manufacturers' instructions and accepted good practice. • Select and mount the appropriate disc for the work practice that is taking place. • Have an understanding of responsibilities under Health and Safety at Work Order 1978 NI & other current relevant legislation.

The Objective of the Course is to enable delegates to: Demonstrate the practices of manual handling and lifting as described in the Approved Code of Practice for Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended).
